We are seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead our residential and light commercial HVAC service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential HVAC systems, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing top-notch customer service. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, and fostering a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC technicians and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and workflow management to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
- Customer Service: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control standards to ensure all service work meets company and industry standards.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and provide ongoing education and training for service technicians to keep them updated on the latest HVAC technologies and best practices.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stocking parts and equipment, to ensure technicians have the necessary tools to perform their jobs effectively.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications/requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential HVAC service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong technical knowledge of residential HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using HVAC service management software and other relevant tools.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Valid MD HVAC technician certification and relevant licenses are preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repairs. This position requires excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently. The primary responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, diagnosing system issues, completing repairs, assisting in new system replacements, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine HVAC system maintenance to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components to identify the root cause of the problem
- Perform necessary repairs or replacements of faulty parts, components, or entire systems
- Assist in new system replacements or upgrade existing ones as per customer requirements
Qualifications/requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician or related role.
- Valid HVAC technician license or certification.
- Hired candidates are required to undergo pre-employment drug screens, driving record and background checks.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of equipment we service.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable communicating and interacting with the general public.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
